Ingredients

\1 Cup of Organic Cane Sugar
\1 Tablespoon of Molasses, For Light Brown Sugar or 2 Tablespoons for Dark Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Add the sugar and molasses to a medium bowl.
  2. Use a whisk or a hand mixer to blend until the molasses is fully incorporated and the texture is uniform. (For a larger quantity, using a stand mixer can be very helpful.)
  3. Store in an airtight container to keep it soft and fresh.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature. If it hardens, add a terra cotta sugar saver to soften it.
  • Customization: Adjust the amount of molasses to control the flavor and color.
  • Quick Fix: You can mix directly into a recipe if you're short on time—just combine the molasses and sugar when mixing the wet ingredients.
