Ingredients
Sloppy Joe Mix
- 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 LB of Ground Turkey
- 1 Small of Onion
- 2 Minced of Garlic Clove(s)
- 4 Ounces of Tomato Paste
- 1/2 Cup of Bone Broth
- 2 Tablespoons of Ranch Powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
- 1 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
Potatoes
- 4 Medium of Potatoes
- 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon of Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon of Ranch Powder
Topping
- 6 Slices of Nitrate-Free Crumbled Bacon
Equipment
- Large Skillet
- Baking Sheet
- Non Toxic Knife

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Arrange the bacon slices on a wire rack over a drip pan and cook the bacon until crispy, about 10-15 minutes.

Toss potato dices in oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, 21 spice and homemade ranch powder. Arrange in a single layer on the sheet pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes,

Allow the bacon to cool and crumble the bacon. Filter and save the bacon grease.

While homestyle fries bake, heat a large skillet over medium heat add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook the diced onions to just under your liking. Add minced garlic and allow to cook 1 minute.

Add the ground turkey and allow to cook most of the way.

Stir in tomato paste, bone broth or water, homemade ranch seasoning, coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder and onion powder.

Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Adjust seasoning as needed.

Plate fries and spoon sloppy joe ranch mixture over top. Add bacon crumbles.

Tips:
Cut the potatoes into evenly sized pieces so they crisp more evenly
Spread the fries out on the sheet pan so they roast instead of steaming
Use grass fed beef or pasture raised turkey for better quality protein and richer flavor
