Description

Crispy garlic herb sweet potato halves have deeply golden cut sides and irresistibly soft, creamy centers. Garlic, herbs, and olive oil create a rich savory flavor that balances the natural sweetness. Sweet potatoes provide fiber, complex carbohydrates, beta carotene, and vitamin B6. Olive oil adds satisfying richness and helps the outside become beautifully crisp.

  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Rosemary
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Thyme

Notes

Tips: Crush the dried rosemary between your fingers before using it to release more flavor Dry the sweet potatoes completely so excess moisture does not interfere with browning Do not move the sweet potatoes while they bake because uninterrupted contact creates the crisp surface Lift the sweet potatoes carefully with a thin spatula to preserve the seasoned crust Phase: Luteal- sweet potatoes provide satisfying complex carbohydrates and vitamin B6 that complement the increased energy needs commonly associated with this phase Season: Fall- roasted sweet potatoes with garlic and herbs create a warm and comforting seasonal flavor Storage: Store in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
